Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada’s program, Mobilité Francophone facilitates temporary work permits for francophone immigrants who wish to settle outside Quebec. To find out if you are eligible,  click here.

This new service, coordinated by our counterparts RDÉE Ontario, allows us to answer questions from Permanent Resident immigrants, living outside Canada. Carrefour Nunavut can answer specific questions relating to jobs opportunities and entrepreneurship in the Nunavut. For more details, click here.

EXPRESS ENTRY

The Express Entry system is used to process applications for permanent residence made under the following federal economic immigration programs:

 

Since January 2015, skilled immigrants have been selected to receive an invitation to apply for permanent residence based on a points system based on the following criteria:

  • Proficiency in French or English
  • Level of education
  • Work experience
  • Other factors that have been shown to help newcomers succeed in Canada
